NEED URGENT HELP! COULD BE INCORRECT DRAFT. APPLICATION RETURNED??

I need advice/help! Urgent!! I am in Canada at the moment. And recieved request for RPRF (from NDVO). So I went to the local bank here and asked them to make a Demand Draft as per the instruction enclosed. In favour of "Canadian High Commission". I also told them that it should be payable at new delhi. So they asked me whether the name "- New Delhi" should be there on the DD?

I told them that I don't know. SO they ended up making a DD with only the name "Canadian High Commission" on it of CAD490. Which I couriered from Canada to Delhi.

Now I realised that could it possibly create any problem? How can one ensure that the DD is payable at New Delhi?? If the draft is not accepted, would my application be returned??

Would be helpful to have some advice on this.

As long as they can negotiate it with their bank, you should be fine. If there is a problem, they would ask you to replace it, they would not use that as the basis for a rejection.

right now i am in the same situation. i got RPRF request and currently im in canada.
please let me know what happend to your DD, is it encashed without any queries from NDVO?
