Hello,

I have 3 years SPP visa which was approved on 14th of July 2014 up to March 2018 under Electronics Engineering(I was gonna change that). But, due to some serious problem in my family I couldn't flew in last September. I withdrew from college but, I didn't cancelled my visa and don't withdraw GIC money as in hope to fly next year. Now in the year 2015 I got admission again in same college but different course ( Visual and creative Arts) of 2 years diploma and it will start on Sept. 2015 and complete on April 2018.So, Now my question is, Do I need to contact Canadian embassy before departure or explain my situation on airport in front of Immigration officer at arrival to Canada. Please, guide me. thank you.

Well firstly, you should have informed them of your inability to start school.
Your best bet now will be to contact them to explain the situation to them.

All the best.
