Need urgent advice in regards to AOR

Hi everyone,

Happy New Year!

I applied my PR application in CEC on Oct 2014 & CIC withdrawn money $550 on Dec 31,2014 from my credit card .
1.What next I can expect?
2.Does it mean that I am eligible ?
3.After how long I can expect AOR?

Also, my friend applied with me on same day in Oct 2014 & he provided bank draft.
1.How will she come to know that CIC has encashed the draft?

Please advise.

1. After 2 months you will get the your file number
2. It means your file and attached documents are good for next processing level
3 after 2 months

you friend can go back to same bank from where she go the bank draft and ask them

when CIC received your application ?

You will be getting AOR(so call Fill Number) Very Shortly.
2.Does it mean that I am eligible ?
It means they are sending your file to your requested visa office, where they will do eligibility test and all other stuff. (It takes more then 6 month approx)
3.After how long I can expect AOR?
4 week or so.

Also, my friend applied with me on same day in Oct 2014 & he provided bank draft.
1.How will she come to know that CIC has encashed the draft?
She can go to bank and ask them, draft has been cased yet or not.

Please advise.
