CALGARY CONSTRUCTION GROUP EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT THIS AGREEMENT made as of 7th August, 2019, between
1. Calgary Construction Group, a corporation incorporated under the laws of the Province of Alberta, and having its principal place of business at 520 3 Ave SW Calgary, AB T2P 0R3, Canada (the "Employer"); and
2. Hossam Nabil Mohamed Ali Soliman bearing A12893040 (the “Employee”).
WHEREAS the Employer desires to obtain the benefit of the services of the Employee, and the
Employee desires to render such services on the terms and conditions set forth.
IN CONSIDERATION of the promises and other good and valuable considerations (the sufficiency and receipt of which are hereby acknowledged) the parties agree as follows:
1. Policy Compliance by Employee
The Employee agrees that he will at all times devotedly, diligently, and to the best of his ability, aptitude, knowledge and flairs, complete all of the duties required of his position. In carrying out these responsibilities and tasks, the Employee shall conform with all Employer policies, actions, instructions and guidelines, both printed and verbal, as are proclaimed by the Employer from time to time. It is also understood and decided to by the Employee that his project, responsibilities, tasks and reporting arrangements may be altered by the Employer in its sole discretion without instigating termination of this agreement.
2. Designation
As Senior Project Manager, the Employee is required to perform duties and undertake the responsibilities in a professional manner.
3. Nature of Job
This position is a permanent job and carries all remunerations and fringe benefits associated with this job type.
4. ENTITLEMENTS /ALLOWANCES
(a) As full compensation for all services provided the employee shall be paid at the net
salary of CAD 128,676 per annum. Date of Joining would be 4th November, 2019. You will be entitled up to 04 bonuses additional in a year; each bonus will be equivalent to one salary.
(b) All reasonable expenses arising out of moving to Canada for employment shall be refunded assuming it has been sanctioned preceding to being sustained and with the provision of appropriate receipts.
(c) You will be responsible for, and the filing of any tax or tax returns due in your home country or future state.
5. Working Hours
Due to the nature of your position, there is not a set schedule that can be observed as usual fixed hours. The demands of the job however need at least 8 hours daily in any pay period. This has been taken into account in fixing your salary. No payment is, therefore, made for overtime. You are required to take all day's off and public holidays and if any are held in lieu, which may only occur with written approval from your manager within 30 days of the day off or public holiday not taken.
6. Probationary Period
It is understood and decided that the first ninety days of employment shall establish a probationary period during which period the Employer may, in its absolute discretion, terminate the Employee's employment, for any reason without notice or cause.
7. Planned Leave entitlement
You will be entitled to 04 weeks vacations per annum and public holidays. If you are required to work on a public holiday a day off may be granted in lieu rather than pay for that day entirely at the management's discretion.
• Your right to vacation pay will be lost if you are summarily terminated for gross misconduct or grave breach of rules laid down in the handbook, a copy given to you and again, except a signed tear out slip is not returned before commencement of your employment, we may declare your offer void.
• It is a condition of your employment that your dates for intended vacation must be agreed by your Manager and you must give rational notice of intention, at least 4 weeks in advance normally.
• You will not be entitled to carry forward unused vacation at the end of the vacation year without prior written consent of the General Manager. Any vacation in excess will become forfeit at that time
8. Sick leave entitlement
According to respective law, you will be allowed a maximum of 45 (forty-five) days per calendar year. Details on how this is calculated will be provided by the Human Resources department.

9. Medical Insurance Policy
You will be covered with a complete medical insurance policy
10. RelocationCosts
Please understand that any relocation costs such as visa costs and any other related expenses incurred in the hiring process are considered. Conditional payments until you have completed twenty four (24) months of employment with the Company subsequent to your relocation. If you voluntarily leave the Company prior to twenty four (24) months, you must refund the full amount conditionally received for relocation expenses. The Company will withhold, if necessary, any such amount due from your salary or other accrued compensation.
You will be responsible for your relocation costs as follows:
•100% of the relocation costs if you opt to leave within less than twelve (12) months period.
•50% of the relocation costs if you opt to leave within twelve (12) to eighteen (18) months period. •25% of the relocation costs if you opt to leave within eighteen (18) to twenty four (24) months period

Benefits & Allowances
a) The Employer shall at its expense provide the Employee and family with the Health Plan that is currently in place or as may be in place from time to time.
b) Company maintained Car & Insurance/ Car Allowance.
c) Company maintained furnished house/ Accommodation Allowance.
d) Education for children under 21 years of age, living in Canada.
e) 05 Business Class air tickets as part of annual vacation.
Periodic Performance Appraisal
• The Employee will be provided with a written performance appraisal at least once per year and said appraisal will be reviewed at which time all features of the assessment can be fully conferred.
• Periodically your manager will conduct a formal performance appraisal (which will be retained with your personnel records). This appraisal is an outstanding chance for you and your manager to discuss how you are doing in your current job (areas of strength, skills which you may need to further develop, and goals). In addition, it will also give you a chance to talk about your career growth and development opportunities.
• All management positions will be posted for a minimum of three (3) business days (72 hours), excluding weekends and holidays, before a job offer can be extended.

Your manager will work with you to develop your full potential and you are encouraged to discuss your career interest with your manager so he or she will be aware of your aspirations.
