Need to travel to the US on an Indian passport after Canadian Citizenship OATH ceremony

Hi all,

This is for a relative of mine who is in this situation -

They are in the US on a Visa on an Indian passport.
Their Canadian Citizenship is under process.

Let's say they get their Oath ceremony, can they travel to Canada for the Oath, complete the oath ceremony and travel back to the US on their Indian passport?

And how can they apply for a Canadian passport after coming to the US.

Any help is much appreciated.

They can apply for the passport service like next day or urgent which you get in either 1 day or 3rd day.

for this you need citizenship certificate which you can get faster do this

1. Prepare your oath form already and try signing it digitally as they have explained in oath email PDF and get it ready in draft to send as soon as ceremony ends.
2. During your Pre-registration clerk will ask you if you are travelling, you can inform you are travelling really soon and want to apply for passport so if you can get it the same day that would be great.

I'll leave the first question to the Indians of the forum, but for the second one, just google "Canadian passport" and the official website will start by asking you where you want to apply from. Applications from US are fairly common and easily processed.
