Sorry It is a long post… but really need help.

My brother(14 years old) was refused visitor visa.Applied in January 2023. Reasons provided were No significant family ties outside of Canada and Insufficient funds and reason of visit is not consistent with details……..,,,,
*We showed 7 lacs INR in Chequing account and 10lacs INR as GPF statement in Father’s account.. Also mentioned that I can provide financial support also if he needs.
*Provided father’s pay stubs,income tax returns,j forms,CA report.
*Provided copies of parents visa and travel history
*Provided letter from school mentioning he is bonafide student and a leave of 20 days.
*Attached pictures with grandparents and friends.
*Purpose of visit- Want to visit elder sister as we haven’t met since five years and i dont have much seniority in my job and wont be able to visit india before end of this year.
*Mentioned from my parents that they have Canada visitor visa and previous travel history to canada.Mentioned that they couldn’t find reliable caretaker for him, that’s why he is taking him with them.
*Duration- 2 weeks.

NOW THINKING TO REAPPLY——
**We didnt attach mother’s bank balance before- She have 7lacs INR—- We will show both parents bank balance that leads to 14-15 lacs INR. Also have dad’s GPF for 10 lacs INR. Will this be sufficient now for two weeks stay?
**Return booked ticket for three of them
**We got leave letter from school,Bonafide certificate from school, letter from school mentioning that his tution fee for next year has been paid in full and also that he has been conditionally enrolled in next year and will be fully enrolled upon getting passing grade in final exams that are in march 2023. Will this be enough?
**He is state level Badminton player. He have tournament coming in May 2023. Can we attach some proof regarding this and mention that he will return back as he has tournament to attend? We can attach his previous tournament certificates also.

**Significant Family ties outside of Canada—- Our grandparents live with my parents. They are very elderly and cannot take care of him when parents are away. He is very close to them. He has friends and near and dear ones in India. To show this,we can only show pictures of them together right? IS THERE ANY OTHER SUGGESTION how we can put this together????

IMPORTANT:::
For last one month,I have a medical condition and I have taken off from work from one month. I have Doctors note,,but don’t have any reports or anything. Can we provide this in purpose of visit that my family wants to meet me as I am sick and I am missing them??

Please suggest. I will be really grateful.

sorry it was a long post.

Whatever you do, do not book your tickets until visa is received. Just provide a flight itinerary should suffice. Btw, what does GPF mean?

Hi,

my brother’s visitor visa got refused on the basis of insufficient funds and that he won’t leave Canada.he was supposed to accompany my mother( already has a visitor visa) for my daughter’s second birthday, as my father cannot due to work commitments. The funds he showed are 50000 cad. Should he reapply, for the reason of refusal does not go with the documents he attached.
Thanks!
