Hello All,
I need some guidance here. My spouse's Portal 2 arrived around December 22nd, 2024, and we have been stuck since then. We are currently waiting for the CoPR. There's an emergency, and we may need to leave Canada for about two weeks. I called an IRCC agent this morning, and they told me that I should email them the same address from Portal 1, explaining our absence and stating that we will return after two weeks. However, they also mentioned that this could cause a delay in our file. What should I do? Has anyone experienced leaving Canada after receiving Portal 2?
Also, I have another question: I’m moving to a new place. Can I update my address, or should I use Canada Post’s mail forwarding service instead?"
It would be beneficial if you could all provide some insight!
