Need to apply for Canada Visa

Hi All,

I want to apply for Canada Work/PR visa but need to know on how can I proceed further. I wanted to know if I should go to a placement/recruitment/Immigration consultant, because most of the companies are asking job applicants to have authorization to work in Canada before they apply. Also is it possible that I can do it all myself as I don't have a job offer yet. I am a travel consultant by profession and have been in the industry for more than 8 years now. I am a Computer Application Developer, IATA and Bcom. I want to relocate with my spouse. She is also a Graduate and Fashion Designer. Please guide me to relocate as soon as possible.

If you want to apply for a work permit then you will first need to find an employer in Canada who is willing to offer you a full time job. That employer will also need to obtain an approved LMIA. Then you will be able to apply for a work permit. Note that it's difficult to find employers who are willing to go through the LMIA process because it takes so much time and costs so much money.

If you go and study in Canada for at least 8 months as a fulltime student, then yes. You can get an open work permit, no longer than the duration of your studies. So 8 months in this case.
