Need Temporary Residence Visa info.

I had arrived to Canada as student in dec 2015, i got student and co-op work visa which is valid until 31 march 2018. I recently completed my my studies and applied for work permit and just got it yesterday. Now I want to travel to my home country due to an emergency, can i come back on the student/co-op work visa and then apply for temporary resident visa.

By work permit do you mean a PGWP ? Anyway neither a PGWP or a study permit are any use for travel purposes, if you are not visa exempt you still need TRV to travel.

Yeah, but my study and co-op visa is valid till 31 march 2018, my student-co-op work permit is not valid anymore. Can I travel on the study/co-op work visa which i have.
