Hi Friends. I am on FB spousal groups. Just joined here. Outland file rec 17 Sept 2020. No update as of now. Need your suggestions. Here is the scenario. Sponsor became PR in 2019 and lived in canada only for a week. Went back to Canada in Aug 2020 and filed for outland spousal in sept 2020. Didnt put NOA 2019 as sponsor was not eligible for (AS PER ONE OF THE AGENT OF CRA INFORMED ). Just provided letter of financial support and other financial documents in outland file. Do tou think app got returned ? Thanks.

Updated: Sponsor got job in Nov 2020 and sent Offer letter, pay slips via web form through temp number of file.

I don't think it's going to be returned. You didn't have NOA because you weren't in Canada in 2019, and you did the right thing by sending the job update via webform. I suggest you file your 2020 taxes ASAP and send your 2020 NOA via webform as soon as you receive it from CRA. Best of luck.
