My visa will be expired on the coming 30dec. But I got the flight on the1st of January 2013. There is no seat available for me before that.
I already applied for the extension visa on 8 Dec12. It seems too late, doesn't it?
I just wanna visit my homeland for a few months.
Woud there be a problem when I re-entry?
I want to do everything legally... what should I do?

Thank you in advance for all suggestions!!!

You will be fine, as you applied for an extension before you status expired. I am assuming your are referring to your work permit, rather than your TRV.

Thank you so much...
Both Work permit and Work visa are expired as the same date, December 30.
You mean I have nothing to worry when the next time, in March 2013, I come here, even I haven't get the extension yet.
That's wonderful.
Are there anything I should do at the immigration?
I work as a researcher for university so I don't want to have a problem with my career path in the future.

Thank you so much for your kindly suggestion,
pim

1. You really have to use either work permit or TRV/Entry visa in your questions, 2 very different things.
2. You have applied for an extension of your work permit, so the processing time is between 40 and 70 days, depending on how you applied. So you won't have it when you leave. Someone will have to send it to you in your home country.
3. Once you have your work permit extension, then you can apply for a TRV (Entry visa) to the office that services your home country.
