Hello im 21 and i have been in canada for 3 years as a visitor...originally my purpose of visit was to meet my girlfriend who is now my wife for a couple months..but things changed when she got pregnant of my daughter..my wife also has 2 boys of her own...i always extened my stay until they refused one of my extensions in novemeber. i was asked to leave the country immideatley...once i was given that i didnt want to remain here without status. i would of fully returned hme but i didnt because the kids here really love me and get depressed when i talk about i have to go. so i decided to take my wife and daughter (not the other 2 noys cuz the father wont sign the paper to let them out the country) and head to vermont for a day and come back. so we did that and i had to pull over and go talk to immigration on the way back..the officer wasnt happy at all which i could totally understand...he told me u bin here for 3 years as a visitor u cant do that only pr holders can do that...i explained to him my situation bout the my kids and how the other 2boys see me as there father and all that i also explained i am bout done with my h & c aplication all im waiting for is my finger prints to come in then its ready to be mailed. he told me he could ban me from canada for 1 yr but decided not to because i have kids... so he issued me a visitor record which i have to leave on january 10th..and told me i cant return to canada until i show proof that im taking the steps to become a permanent resident. he said if i try to come back with out proof i will be denied entry to canada. im going to leave but i wanted to know what proof do they actually want like the proof of payment of my h & c application? he also said he put notes in the computer so when i return they will see what he wrote. now my finger prints should be coming back in a matter of weeks so when i get it i will mail my application off and try to return to canada. my wife cant be here alone with the 3 kids. one of the kids have adhd and needs me here because im very patient with him and keep him busy. but yea what kinda proof do i need? ty for taking your time to read this.
