In 2006 I visited Canada with no problems for a few weeks and left.

I went to visit again in 2009 @ Windsor tunnel, the Canadian customs agent ask if I had any criminal history, I told her yea I have an OWI.

Well she checked my name "new computers I guess, they didn't have them in 2006". A couple of things popped up that I was never charged with but was still on "my" record I guess. Well she screams violently to other agents "This one is going Back". So I was denied and was told that they could arrest me but let me off with a warning.

It's been a while but she said that I would need to fill some form out that she written the name of the form on a piece of paper, so I filled it out, got photos taken at a store, sent in a bunch of my info, they returned all of my property in the mail stating I needed to fill a different form out so now I was just getting poked in the ringer by the Canadian customs.

Could someone please point me in the correct direction?

Thanks.

Ineligibility to enter Canada is a serious matter, Canada can get real uptight over what others see as simple problems.

What specifically did the officer refuse you entry for?

What sort of things have you done, or been stopped for?
How long ago were these events?
What were the forms that you sent after your refused entry?

It would appear the OP is criminally inadmissible for a drink/driving offence. Depending on how long it go it was, if it was over 5 years ago he can apply for rehabilitation. see: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/imm/inadmissible-interdiction.aspx?lang=eng&menu_id=63&menu=L

The OWI is fine the way she acted, it was when she ran my name.
I had a offense that I was never charged with in the middle of 2005 which was grand theft auto but that story is very long and I never stole a vehicle in my life, the Judge knew this and that's why I was never charged with grand theft auto but still shows on my record.

That one was the first offense that showed, then a second one popped up, I got pulled over in 2001, they found paraphernalia on me, but same thing again I was never charged for this offense either.

Also when I visited Canada in 06 I was on probation here in the states, my probation officer gave me permission to leave the states to visit Canada for a few weeks with a signed document that I showed the Customs agent and he let me into Canada with no problems.

I was placed on probation for the OWI for 2 years and finished.

The first form that I filled and sent in, they sent back saying I sent the wrong one in "which I know I sent in the correct form the lady told me to fill and send in". I cannot recall the name of that form atm, been almost 2 years. Seems like there are a lot of forms for different specific applications.

I finished my probation of my owi offense in middle of 08, so I cannot apply for some form until 2013?

-----------------

If I got a lawyer to expunge the offenses that i was never charged for, would that be easier to apply for one of these forms?

DUI/OWI are seen as serious offences in Canada.

If you can get a lawyer to remove the "non-offenses" this would obviously help.
It looks like you have a while to wait before you can apply for rehabilitation.
