Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi Guys,

May i ask some questions about the process in coming to canada, i have no idea on what should i do next.

My prospective employer already hired me for a full time position and told me that i will be receiving the official job offer soon. He also told me that they already completed an application in immigration on my behalf last month, May 2012.

Here is my question:
1. Would you know what kind of job offer is this? (provincial nomination or arrange employment)

2. Would their be a problem if this is their first time to relocate a foreign worker?

3. What should i do next aside from waiting the official job offer?

4. How long is the processing times?

5. Is there a thing called relocation package? (all expenses will be shouldered by the employer)

Tell me your answers and experiences.

Thanks

I really need some help, i dont know what to do...

Give me some info pls, perhaps your success story.

Hi....congrats on the job offer!

I found it really hard to find a job before I came to Canada so good on you!

I believe this would be a work permit to work for this employer only and would be classed as a job offer letter.

You need to get more information from your new employer and find out what you need to do next. Without this you will be lost and probably that's how you are feeling right now.

Once you know what your employer has submitted, you can then search the processing times on the cic website.

I'm not sure on the re location package...sorry!

Good luck :)

Thanks for your reply.

Yes your right i'm feeling lost and i dont know what are things that i need to do next. I probably get more information with my employer but actually i dont know what to ask? do i need to follow up the official job offer letter?

furthermore...

The employer also told me that based on his understanding, it would take about 3 months before i can able to move to Canada.

What do you think?

As far as I know, it will take 3 months for you to get your work permit or probably it depends to where visa office you are applying. So by that time, you can already move to Canada. Did you say that your employer send the application package? The employer is just responsible to give you a job contract and LMO and he should send it to you, then you can fil out necessary forms and documents when you apply for work permit to the visa office of which country you are from. You have to send your passport too in order to give you work visa. :)

I have yet to receive the job offer and even the job contract. Do you think i ask them about this? However, i dont know what to ask.

Based on my research, this is a PNP.

Which province are you applying for?

Ontario.

Actually, i really dont know if this is a PNP, its just a thought. Maybe because of the 90 days my employer told me, check the PNP ontario link below

ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPQUESTIONS.html

And this is what i want to ask from my employer, but i dont know how to.

Btw, do you think i follow up the official job offer letter?

Why don't you just contact your new employer and ask all those questions? You must have their contact information? If not than I would be careful to actually trust them. If they want to hire you they will be very helpful in answering your questions.

Canadians don't bite, you can ask whatever you want and if they don't understand your question they will ask for more detail until they can properly answer.

I really don't understand you repeatedly saying that you don't know how to ask your employer a question. You do it in this forum.

If I were you, I will just wait for the job contract that your employer will send you. Your employer cannot apply for PNP in your behalf. He can just help you and give necessary documents to process your PNP. But you will be the ONE who should submit your PNP application unless you hire an immigration lawyer.
So, your employer might just currently working on Pre screen Application so he can hire a foreign worker and you can work for him which is required in order for you to get a working visa.

My employer told me that he did not proceed with PNP because of too many back logs in PNP ontario right now, instead he use TFWP. He is now waiting for the approval.

Thanks for all your help. Perhaps, I need to move to a different forum.
