Since the normal processing time has passed, you can email the Canadian Embassy in Makati's visa section. You can find the email address on the embassy website. When you email them, clearly state why this visa is urgent.

I think hindi possible yun. since sa port of entry nya malamang tatanungin sya how long yung stay, six months lang sasabihin nya dahil yun lang din ung nasa invitation letter nya, then we'll try to apply for an extension of stay dito na sa Canada.

My mom got her visa yesterday it was issued Aug 9, 2013 and last til Feb 6, 2013.
Andito na ba mother mo? San ka ng nakakuha ng ticket? Destination ng mother ko is Edmonton. Kayo san kayo rito sa Canada. Im planning to get her a tucket right away. Just trying to look for a cheaper one. Let me know where did you guys buy your Moms plane ticket.

hi, buti naman approved na visa nya . dito kami sa montreal, sept 15 flight ng mama ko, tickets right now are very expensive, 2200 ung nakuha namin, 2 stops, thru travel agency. check ka online try kayak.com then canvass ka sa mga travel agencies jan para magkaidea ka magkano ticket. Sept na ung ticket nya kasi ang mahal ng mga tickets for august.

We got her airfare ticket for 1700 direct flight MNL-YVR then change plane going to EDMONTON. SEPT. 12 nman flight ng mom ko.

buti naman booked na ticket ng mama mo, all we have to do is wait for them. Are you going to get her health insurance when she gets here? balak kasi namin kuhanan si mama ko, right now canvass kami ng murang health insurance good for 6 mos, then extend na lang nmin if ever ma extend din stay nya.

Not necessarily. A request to pick-up the passport may indicate presentation of the applicant before a VO prior to issuance of the visa. Not very often this happens. If not, then their courier services may not deliver to the address of the applicant for reasons unknown .

Manila VO/CEM - visit visa applicants typically are sent back their passports via courier whether declined or approved. May be different now with PIASI services, but courier services are still available.

They do not inform the applicant that they were either approved or denied? Or at least in this case they didn't.

A workmate's sister invited a childhood friend to visit from the Philippines and all she received from the embassy was an email/letter informing her to pick up her passport. She is from Baliol. About an 8 hour drive to Manila.
