Hi everybody!
I really need some clarification. I've just graduated from a University, and now need to decide whether I'm eligible for skilled worker visa or not. I tried hard to find my occupation in NOC, but I've failed. I don't know whether experience in my area would be useful in Canada, but here is what I do. I've completed 5 years of study in a University in "Automation of technological processes and plants" area. My research topic was "Application of neural networks to identification of non-linear dynamic objects" or something like that In short my job duties could be described as "replacing human labor with machines" and it involves extensive use of programmable logical controllers, SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) systems and such. But I'm not really sure how to call my occupation in English, and how to check my eligibility. I would highly appreciate any help and advises.
Thanks a lot!
