ok I am writing this in my SOP as well as I am sending my IELTS score to embassy.

Thanks alot for you advice.
yeah thats good. you dont need to be afraid. I have not seen any visa rejected due to 6 in IELTS its not a bad score (even though its not good for universities) but if it would be 5.5 then worry lies but 6.0 it will be okay.

hi ,
just follow the checklist, there is no recommended or non recommended checklist.
i came to Canada without ielts ,coz uni waived my ielts ,and i had 8.5 in ielts but i did not send to embassy coz they did not ask for it .
so why would i do something that i have not been asked to???
you have to understand how people here think ,not how we perceive .
good luck
you are right. it seems you would have very strong profile, if some one have very strong academic background he can be waived, or you may have bachelors degree form any English speaking country. or you may be going for PHD having research intensive masters degree from home country. so in such cases you can easily convince VO ur skills without IELTS. if not then IELTS is the best way to show ur english language skills.
