Well, that's a expensive program without any substantial market value and brand name. Also I reckon that it does nt require GMAT for admissions..........would suggest some known MBA programs with GMAT as requirement such as Telfer,SFU,UViC etc.

given your gmat score, brock is a good choice.... its in ontario... so you will be at the center of concentration...

i am also going to windsor mba... hoping for the visa now....

There has been similar thread created in 2012: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/please-help-decide-between-brock-mba-and-laurentian-mba-t108129.0.html

Something created just for Int'l students makes me highly suspicious about its credits. I personally don't know much about MBA (ISP) at Brock; an Int'l should get same degree as Canadian in order to compete in the real job market. Don't you think the employers will know about its credentials?

Do extensive research on it before deciding especially when it costs you $44,000.

rossie:

its plain and simple.... some uni's have programs to earn money, but yes, those are not bad programs as well, but main motive is to earn money.... those programs dont require gmat... that's the bottom line...

like, mba of unbc, unb, viu, brock ... but, these are not bad as well, coz chinese have problems with english... for windsor, there is an MoM program, with Ottata, they have master of admin which dont require gmat... and so on...

only top 10 uni's require gmat for ANY program.... but, even york has business program , masters in accounting, which dosn't require gmat....

doesn make any difference to tell you honestly... i think bottom unis of canada are even better than top unis of aus/uk... if you want to argu, i will give it a break....

brock mba and mba (isp) has the same curriculum.... the difference is that they waive some courses from canadian graduates which they dont do for non-canadians, otheriwse, its fine...

Any MBA program not requiring GMAT is certanily not great, and this has been argued many times before. Also creating a spl International option does create a sense of doubt on the whole motive of the program.
I would suggest to get in touch with past students of the program on LinkedIn/forums, get in touch with University and try getting placements stats of past years and get a wholesome perspective, as 44k CAD is no small amount unless U have loads of money to through away!!!!
Not discouraging U, but do a good research before making a move!!!!!!!

bro there is not much u can get for a gmat 500. Still i would suggest u to work a lilttle harder
nd get close to 600 , u open up much better options when u reach there.

Personally i wouldnt invest 44k$ + living expenses $$$$$ on a BROCK MBA(ISP) , no offence but i dont see any huge carrier prospects back home nd there r many mbas from mcmasters , UBC's , U of alberta nd etc etc etc competing with them with no cnadian exp nd a brock mba(isp) wont help u much. i dont see the course worth 44k $ .

i dont knw much abt mba in canada but UVIC's mba which is very respected costs just 29k$ for the international students with optional 8 months co-op.it needs a gmat of 600 & B+ grades in ur final 2 years of last education
