I am applying CEC. In the documents checklist, it asks for my spouse's police certificate. However, my spouse is a Canada PR already. Do I still need to submit my spouse's police check?

Documents that prove your spouse is PR, copy of passport, PR card, COPR, etc.

do you know where we can find this information? if I call IRCC, will the representative help with this question?

Hi, what did you submit for this? I see same checklist and I am planning to get his PCC now thought he has a PR.

If he is already a PR, he cannot be a co-applicant. Simply upload a statement saying your spouse is a PR and a copy of his PR card.

Yes thank you. I tweeted cic about this and they responded saying that PCC is not required for spouse if he or she is a citizen or PR holder.

Thanks for this! We are in the same boat. We will upload an LOE in place of the PCC. What did you upload for the Family Member Proof of Status in the spouse's supporting documents section?
