Hi guys, been reading this forum for a while, sitting with CRS 474 for last 3 month, have little to no hope to get an ITA with current EE trend.
I'm 30, will be 31 in Dec and CRS will drop to 469.
Masters, CLB9+, Spouse Masters CLB7. 3 years of foreign work exp.
No French skills
No Can work expp
No Can education

Even if we both have CLB10 for English my score will only reach to 481, and before i get that it will drop because of my birthday.
French gives i think 18 points or so , but i don't think i can conquer French to that level as i just know maybe 5 words in French.

Maybe PNPS ?

PS: I'we been trying to get papers here in US for last 5 years and ran out of options, my frustration is building up with each draw. Help me and point me in right direction.

Thnaks

I think CRS will drop to 470 soon. You can opt for CLB 10 to be on safe side to get direct ITA. OR else just wait for OINP to send PT NOI again. you have a fair chance to get PT once November quota is announced. This time it will be online application and hope it will be faster to 2016 processing.

If you can boost your score to above 481 or slightly less then retake the ielts

I'm almost in the same situation (except I am single and already turned 31), have 458 and still looking optimistic for next draws, think it will decrease. You are good!!! and have great chances. More Likely this year if not surely next it will come.

CLB 10 - is the only way to increase your score, if you have time and motivation why not to do that?
PNP is an option as well check it out.

Personally I create my account month ago, currently unemployed and already denied one job offer    :-\ :-\ :-\ slowly spent my savings, chill out and enjoy idling waiting when miracle happen.

NOT RECOMMEND you to do that, but trying to say that there are dozens of us way more in worse situation still have a hope for ITA or PNP doing self analysis, calculations, "researches". Be confident you will get it.

Good luck.

I just don't want to spend 500$ and time to get better IELTS, i'we already taken it two times. What if i score less this time or something? You never know. I was thinking to start learning French to get some points for that at least, but realistically i don't think i can learn anything in French in couple month to boost my score up.
I'm thinking about OINP, but really hoping to get ITA before November.

The whole EE system is unfair, there should be percentage of people selected from each CRS category, i know bunch of people who sit here in 430-450 range with good IELTS, education, etc.
And i thing CEC and PNP should be separate from FSW, someone with nomination will have CRS 1000 or so, but their English Education and experience is far below that of an applicant with CRS 450-480, i just think it's not fair in general.

Do you know which provinces give nominations to people with supposedly less education and English? Definitely not BC or Ontario. Think about that.

Retaking ielts is your only way if you want something to improve your scores in a short period

With CRS 474, you will get the ITA on 5th Oct Draw.

Thanks

What ? Ontario will invite anyone over CRS 400 and you have to have CLB7 if i remember correct. I don't talk here about BC, but most of PNPs are targeted either for Canadian postgraduates, agricultural sector and in demand occupations, it doesn't mean that those people have poor English and Education, but average score for applicant who gets PNP is around 1000-1050 CRS. Am i wrong ?
