I had applied for SuperVisa for them. On completion of online submission, I got a response that health insurance of approximately $100,000 for a min. 1 year needs to be applied. Since I did not, the visa request was considered not eligible

Now, I am applying for visitor visa for my parents. When uploading the documents, it does not say anywhere about the criteria for having a medical insurance. I am planning to apply for Canadian medical insurance, once the duration of the stay is confirmed (3 or 4 months)

Can someone confirm that I can apply for visitor visa without worrying about health insurance now?

Any response will be appreciated.

If you want to apply for Super visa yes you will have to buy medical health insurance, but if you decide to only for the simple TRV health medical insurance is non required.

its a very prudent idea to cover your loved ones with the unexpected financial loss and health concern. Canada is damn expensive and might lead you to be a broke if unexpected happens.

check this out...it will help...best of luck
