3-4 months from the time your application reached CIC.

No - there is no way. They do not send any mail to confirm the application has been received. Again, you won't hear anything for 3-4 months.

If you dont have previous UCI number than the only way is that you can send an email to CIC to know your application status after 8-10 weeks of sending your application. For your case i would suggest you to send the mail around last week of december. They will give you a reply in next 30-40 days providing the status of your application. Best Of luck.

Note - If you send the mail within first 8 weeks of sending your application you will not recieve any reply from them.

My husband has sent his profile on 21 oct to Nova scotia. We heard from someone that after express entry they will not consider the FSW profiles. Is it true. As they will open our file in the month of January. And express entry is also coming in January. So kindly lets us know whether our efforts willne wasted

No , unless the CAP is not filled , There is nothing to worry. Express entry is a independent system to FSW

It will be returned to you. I dont think your application will make it towards the cap limit. They will send your app back through regular mail which may take anywhere btw 3-4 months time till it reaches you. kindly prepare and wait for express entry. Good luck..

Soory, but your file will be returned 'as-is' due to Cap reached.
When you'll receive it - depends on your location and luck.. could be anything between 15 days to 2/3 months 8)
