Need Information Regarding Student Visa....

hey guys i need information about student visa... i applied for PR but my application got rejected so i thought to apply for student visa... what r the requirements and how much time it will take...i am frm hyderabad, india...

* i have done my B.tech ( Computer science) 2006 n i have four years of experience till now...this will effect that i am applying for studies after these man years...

* i have IELTS ( General ) overall 6.5 is this enough n do i have to give police clearence certificate if yes can i give the PCC which i have given to CHC for PR..

* does i need to send my college transcripts or it doesn't require...

* how much should i have to show POF like in liquid cash or can i show some money on property base...

* i have some relatives in canada so does this help if i show less funds....if i can get a sponsorship letter from them..

* is there any application period, i should apply at that time only like some countries have september n june lie that...or we can apply any time of the year.

*any suggestions regarding cheap colleges n fees information....

You applied for PR & ur application got rejected & now you applying for student visa... Well if u will apply for student visa then according to me 80% is no because now officer knows that you will stay there and your main aim is PR.

1) No, it will not effect.. you can go for higher studies there...

2) IELTS 6.5 is fine.. minimum needed by embassy is 6.0 ... No u don't need PCC for student visa unless you have some criminal record..

3) Off-course... you need to send all your transcripts of the studies you did after age 18.

4) Proof of fund should be the tuition fee of your course + 10,000$ (living expense) + 3000$ (for return flight ticket)

5) Better don't show them that you have relatives in Canada because your PR application already got rejection & now if u will show that you have relatives in canada then its 100% NO Student visa for you.

6) Anytime prior to 3 - 4 months of your course starting date.

7) Search on Google.. Google is your friend. Search according to the course you want to go for.

PS - THIS IS MY THOUGHTS & GUESSES. SO WAIT FOR SENIORS TO APPLY WHO HAVE MORE INFO. THEN ME.. OR CONSULT ANYONE PROFESSIONAL..

well in that case its good for you... good luck.. i dont have much details about PR & work visa.. applied for student visa first time.. so i was just helping u nothing else... Hope u get ur visa pretty soon..

i applied for film production in private college but under canada government.. i dont know what it is but i will get 1 year work visa after completing my studies there.. its in vancouver. fees = 52,450 cad $...
