Need information regarding IMM form and IME number for medical certificate

Hi,

We received an ITA from Express entry on 14th June 2021, and one of the mandatory fields is to upload the medical certificate under section "proof of upfront medical exam". One contacting medical centres for a medical checkup, they mentioned having an IMM letter and IME number as mandatory for booking an appointment for the medical check-up. But we have not received either of the details and have no idea where to get them from.
What's the process to get an IMM letter and IME number?
Any help will be appreciated.

NOTE: A mandate to have an IMM letter and IME number to book an appointment for a medical check-up has been stated only 15days back.

Last draw was on 9th and 10th June. Did you receive PNP draw or CEC?

The medical test done without IME is called as upfront medical test. It was mandatory for e-apr submission. However, now they have made it optional during application submission for outland applicants. It is still mandatory for inland applicants.

As per, IRCC will tell when to do test by issuing an IME letter with IME number. However, if upfromt is done you can submit. Now coming to India, there as doctors are busy with covid efforts, IRCC has asked to stop upfront tests.

Well, We received Express Entry invite on the last draw. Yes, we did get to know that submitting LOE on the same will be sufficient for now.
