Need information from those who are already in Canada

I am planning to come Canada soon but there are some questions which are hammering on my mind.

Those who are already in Canada please elaborate the answers of following:

1. I will need money, once i will be in Canada. My family have to send it to me. So i think bank will be the right channel for that. Please let me know can International students open bank account in Canada(So that i can receive money). And i will need debit card for online transactions, so it will be given by bank?

2. How much shared accommodation cost in Vancouver? Does share mean shared room or shared house? and how much people normally share it?

3. How much one normally earn from part time jobs?

4. How much is monthly expenses of students?

5. Can students earn sufficient to full fill living expenses and part of tuition fee?

If you feel any other information will be helpful then also share it.

yes u can.,with passport ,study permit, acceptance letter.,and cash to deposit.,,.,.receive money from india by wire transfer to your new account.,

try out kijiji or craiglist for this.,., if its house its upto you how many you manage,..,and if its a shared room then only 1.,.,

In ontario its less thn 7 dollars .,.very hard to find job,,..actually no job,..,in vancouver same.,.,more students more rush,,.less wages,.,.

4. How much is monthly expenses of students?

depends on you.,.,.,RENT 500 $ + GROCERY 300 $ (DEPENDS) + TRAVEL 70 $ (DEPENDS)

5. Can students earn sufficient to full fill living expenses and part of tuition fee?

IF IN ONTARIO NO NO and NO,.,.,.IF ANYWHERE ELSE MAY BE.,,.IF IN SASKATCHEWAN SURE,..,but you work for first 6 months (only on campus job),..,after 6 months only 20 hours a week,.,.,.,if you work cash in hand .,.,you dont how much they pay you,..,.,

yes, you can.

$300-400 on shared basis. you will get many agents who can provide you rooms/basements. It all depends on owner or agent.
3. How much one normally earn from part time jobs?
As you are going there for your studies. Don't think about part times and all now. but if you want how much so it depends on work to work.
but on an average you can earn $10.25/hour. so just chill.
4. How much is monthly expenses of students?
monthly expenses also vary student to student. like room rent $ 300-400 + groceries $100-150 + bus pass $120+ phone $55 + extra depends on your outings/clubbings/drinking/smoking.
5. Can students earn sufficient to full fill living expenses and part of tuition fee?
yeah. that much you can get. But you have to control yourself if you are dependent only on part time jobs.
