Hi all, :)

I applied under CEC in Feb 2014 and got my AOR in march, 2

Here all changes happens now on-wards.

1. traveled to home country and got married in May, 2014. :)
2. applied for new passport for my self and spouse.
reasons --> a. mothers name spelled wrong in both of our passports
b. added spouse name in passports.
3. applied for TRV for her and got rejected. :(
reasons by VO --> didn't satisfy that she will be leaving Canada at the end of the her stay
( may be because my my work permit expires in Dec 2014 )
employment.
( she finished her masters and got married, there is not time for her to so a job )
insufficient fund.
( she showed liquid cash of almost 36K CAD $ and I had almost 16k$ )

I had informed CIC by emailing them as soon as i got married and didn't get any response/ reply from them. ??? ???
email addresses i emailed them are . CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca
ottpilot-immigration@cic.gc.ca
CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca
centralized-intake-office@cic.gc.ca

Can any body help me in this situation now.
1. what is the procedure to let them know.?
2. what are the required documents to be submitted.?
3. following submitting documents, if they request for passports of both of us, where should i submit her passport?

Although I am regularly following this forum, I am really confused reading all the posts because everyone scenario is little different.

I will be really thankful If someone can suggest me or should I hire a immigration lawyer?

Thank you and all the best for everyone

You applied for CEC, which means you are working on a skilled position.

Don't rush to apply for her case now, because you two are related now, if she is applying
for visitor visa, The VO's decision was right, nobody would think she is just visiting canada.
If i am VO, i would reject her case as well.

Do the following, you have better chance to bring her over here:
-your work permit is expiring in 4+ month. wait it is less than 4 months and apply for bridge open work
permit with your AOR.
- while you are waiting for the work permit to be less than 4 months and waiting for the work permit renewal, get your wife finish medical exam and have all the documents ready.
- once your new work permit is received, apply a spouse open work permit for her.

The chance her spouse work permit get approved would be much higher than her visitor visa.
