Need info about BC Tech Pilot Program

Hello All,
I am exploring BC Tech pilot program (as I am likely to get a job offer in that province) and found the below info "Individuals who have been nominated and who meet the conditions of their nomination will receive a work permit support letter that allows them to obtain or renew their current work permit allowing them to work throughout the process."
Does it mean that I can work in British Columbia after getting the nomination and before getting PR?

BC nomination is not a work permit in Canada. You can use your nomination letter to apply a work permit while you wait for your PR to process.
