Need immediate guidance for parents visitor visa

-LICO is minimum income based on your family composition including the members whom you are sponsoring.
- No S.V. take approx same time to approve as V V, if Caseworker is convince.
- In case of S.V. You can mention that they have not met your for long and that is valid ground

My father is visiting for 15 days and my mother is visiting for 2 months so I think visitor visa suits them. Visitor visa is stamped for 10 years, I dont know duration for Super visa. I already applied once for VV, now applying for SV would send a message that I am not clear on their travel and it can become a reason for their suspicion. I dont see any reason to apply for super visa (I mean in both visas we need to show family ties back home).

I cannot say they have not met us for long time as we went home in November'2021. So, I am confused how to convince on purpose of visit and how to prove it.

Visitor visa can also be stamped one-time only, give the holder staying in Canada for up to 6 months. Holders of super visa can stay in Canada up to 2 years.

I do realize there are following 2 reasons for rejection:
1. based on your personal assets and financial status
2. based on the purpose of your visit

To address the first concern, I am adding the property papers which is owned and where my parents live. Also, I am adding property papers which is owned by my parents but rented out. Then my father is a free lancer so no work certificate but bank account statements where he gets paid for free lance work (did attach the other bank statement with last application which had liquid assets for longer term). Please let me know what else can I attach for first concern.

To address the second concern, I mentioned purpose as to meet their son and daughter-in-law. Now, we went home in November'2021 so maybe authorities are suspecting they met recently then why are they going to meet again. I don't know how to address this concern. Also, as my father goes back in 15 days and my mother goes back in 2 months so they must be wondering what is the actual purpose of visit. I dont know how to address this concern. Can someone help in this please.

I have the same reason and on the same day as you got the rejection.
I ordered GCMS notes, and the process of your application depends on case worker and the location of your application processing centre.
Financial assest can be corrected as you mentioned your father’s property and the purpose of the visit should be changed from the previous purpose
I am also learning and waiting for my GCMS notes then address those issues.
So its not like you gets the V.V earlier than supervisa or wise versa.
I think what i have learnt from this forum is that if you see the check list of the supervisa that makes more legitimate on your case.
If you NOA is met as per lico.
Anyone more expert correct me if i am wrong anywhere as i am also wanting to apply for my parents

I am still confused on purpose of visit, they are coming to spend time with family, what else can I write? And how can I proof that this is the reason and nothing else. If anyone can suggest.
Also, I would look into super visa then decide what should I go for.

Now, I should say yes here and provide details that it was refused due to financial reason and purpose of visit. I mean would that be the right thing to do? Please suggest for this question.

Yes , you can provide the reason oR simply provide the Application # , Anyway Caseworker will fetch all past history of Particular UCI

Hi, I have one more question, in the new IRCC portal there is no place to attach digital photo. Do we need to attach? I believe in old system through GCkey portal we did need to attach digital photo. Please suggest. Thanks!

Hi i am in a bit of a fix. Can somebody from Pakistan help?
Applied for parents visit visa via new portal on april 20, 2022. Biometrics were not needed as already done in 2020.
Since then, it’s dead silence. When i applied, the processing time was 60 days and now it’s showing 193 days. Called Ircc, they said application is in Abu dhabi office so i should contact them. Raised webform to abu dhabi office and received a generic reply only. I have tried to contact local MP but he never replies (they pick up the call, say they’ll send me an email to ask for the application details but never get back after that. I have called them and reminded them around 6 times in two months.)
My parents have visited Canada before in 2021 and at this point, i am just very anxious. Anyone in the same boat?

Are you a PR? Assume there is a large influx of applications from Pakistan and there is concern that due to the floods many will not want to return to Pakistan. People’s situation also may have changed since applying. All you really can do is wait unfortunately.
