(It's their tradition, they can get married many times) Now If I divorce my husband here in Canada Can I sponsor my second husband? he's in Taiwan right now. I appreciate the help. thank you

You cannot sponsor your second husband without first divorcing your first husband AND then marrying your second husband again.

Your second marriage will only be recognized by Canada if you get married AFTER your divorce to your first husband is finalized.

So it is not enough to get divorced from your first husband. You have to do this and also remarry for second husband.

Are you a PR or citizen? How much time have you spent living with your husband since 2015? Are you compliant with your RO if you are a PR?

yes but I have no connection with the first one he also have his own family now
I would probably become familiar with this word , if you haven't already

big·a·my
/ˈbiɡəmē/
noun
  1. the act of going through a marriage ceremony while already married to another person( P.S- It’s kinda frowned upon in Canada )

Even though the first and second marriage doesn't happen in Canada? what If I'll file for a divorce here and remarry ? is that acceptable? can you teach me where to file a divorce? and how much does it cost?

I would suggest looking into getting a good lawyer and expect to pay out some green since it seems like this might be a bit tricky. I don't have any personal recommendations having been out of Canada for a long time but perhaps get some referrals from someone you trust.

The cost will vary based on how long and what's involved and the lawyer/firm that you choose.

You not only have the marriage stuff to contend with, but also that bigamy is considered a crime in Canada. (Indictable, 7 years.)

Still, I would focus on getting the first marriage divorced before trying to argue that its OK to be married to multiple persons since it was all done in another country. Ya never know :)

Where and when did you marry the husband from whom you separated in 2012?

Scylla is correct in saying: So it is not enough to get divorced from your first husband. You have to do this and also remarry for second husband.

As for divorce, it's a federal law matter in Canada, but done in the superior courts in each province. I do not know your province. Not difficult or expensive to do on your own in BC, and probably same elsewhere.

Don't fret about the bigamy scare. I have seen a lot of criminal cases in my province of BC over long years. Never encountered a bigamy prosecution. I have seen one polygamy case:

R. v. Blackmore, 2018 BCSC 1383

https://www.bccourts.ca/jdb-txt/sc/18/13/2018BCSC1383.htm

If you read the reasons for judgment, you will see just about all Canadian bigamy cases mentioned. They are a rarity. Most provinces record none.
The first and second marriage done in Philippines since my 1st husband had a new family I tried to find a new one and that is my muslim second husband. What should I do? what first step do you recomend on me.? what should I do to bring mu second husband here he's in taiwan working.
