hi everyone!

right now i m pursuing b.tech (7th sem.) in electronics and communication, planning to go to canada for Mengg, but problem is dat my consultant is saying dat u r late for d sep 2013 intake and suggesting me to opt d colleges for pg diploma courses and after dat go for d lateral entry in a universty.

will it be a right choice to go for pg diploma and den take an lateral entry in universty or shud i wait for next year's ie sep2014 intake??

experts plz help with ur suggestions

no go for master in good university. Apply ur self . consultant r making money from colleges and u can apply for sep 2013 most uni's deadline in 1feb.

bro then go for jan2014 or may2014 to any good uni. Not in college.and some master course in canada uni are low fee than college. Search on internet and find good university.perpare for ielts go for 7band . And can u tell me you full profile(education history).

thts correct ... go for univ,, and cn wait fr sm tym ... dnt get into the words of the consultants.. they speak as per their convenience.. will land u in a problem ... they tel u to join courses as per their suitability and latr u may find a prob in changing n lateral entry n all

You are good to go for sep13. Consultant is fooling you.

for eg . for concordia last date for masters is feb1 (can be late also)

You can apply and submit fees. Then upload scanned copy of documents and email them that you will submit ielts bit late as you still have to appear for that.
And send remaining documents by courier/mail.

10th=82%
12th=75%
% in college upto 6th sem=76%(ECE)
one more thing that my consultant was saying that there is no intake for may and chances for jan intakes are very less as this is for domestic intake only means if i apply for 10 uni's i'll get offer letters from only 2 or 3 uni's.

is dat so?

Whatever he is saying you, everything is false. Don't visit him again. No university has separate batch for domestic and international students. Also, you have much time. You can still apply to 90% of universities. You can apply easily in Manitoba, sakatchewan , concordia, new brunswick , dalhousie etc etc

@ms.mech,so sir all in all i can say they made a fool of me,its unbelievable that i was guided rather i shud say misguided by one of the prominent consultency

sir kindly highlight the requisite documents that i need to produce b4 them +vely on day of applying n the documents that i may linger onn..? (like transcripts,sop,lor,ielts score etc)

Try contacting universities you want to apply in. Every university has different requirement. Though basic documents that all universities require are :


You need 10th , 12th , B.Tech transcripts (individual / consolidated), Ielts scorecard , 2/3 LOR's (As per university requirement) , SOP .

For faster processing you may upload scanned copy of 10, 12 b.tech , provisional degree and Ielts scorecard first and mail/courier rest of documents later.


Also, you should highlight these type of fraudulent consultancies by writing their name , location so that no one else becomes their victim.

I am amazed how could consultancy like IDP could suggest like this.

i am also in shock who can idp do this to u. U know almost every university have early addmission like concordia , u of regina ,u of winnpig .where u can apply before ur current study is over. Go to AUCC website there u find all canadian uni's. And it have very good search options for courses also.
There is may intake every where for master course.for eg concordia and regina for sure and
bro if u apply in 10 uni it will near about 1 lac. App fee etc.
So apply in 3 or 4 uni only . U have good profile they will accept u.

1. Ask your consultant, which came first, the chicken or the egg, I bet they know correct answer.
2. For admission deadlines search school websites, shoot email to admission office, search on google (the greatest invention by mankind).
