Hi would like to ask if its okey to renew my philippine passport 8moths before it expired.

I think that is a good idea, because it lessen your burden, because i think they will request you to renew because what i knew is that
passport validity is until 4 or 6 months before it expired. But inform the Visa office once you renew it.

Yes, especially if you are planning travel anytime soon - for travellers it is usually advised to have a passport valid for at least 6months before expiry.
