Hello everyone, I am having a hard time calculating how many months of work experience I have. Please help me! Thank you very much!
Below shows my date & year of management experience:

First job from 09/21/2015 - 11/15/2015
Second job from 02/16/2016 - 02/12/2017
Current job from 02/13/2017
My work permit will expire next month on October 18, 2017.

So I would like to know how many months I will get in October, 2017.
I'm not too sure how CIC calculate the months.
Very much appreciated!

im guessing you're applying under the CEC program?

Then refer this and calculate your work exp accordingly http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp

I have read this but don't know if the total month is 23 or 24 since I have a few months gap. It would be so sad if there are only 23 months which will be counted as 1 year :( I need to have 2 years to beat the threshold...

you lost me at the 2 yrs threshold part. if you talking about continuous wexp for eligibility its 1560 hours (how this is made up could differ)

maybe use this forum so you get a more suitable response? http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/forums/canadian-experience-class.52/

I friend of mine had 99 weeks but his EE profile took it as 2 years he has already done the landing.

I'm not too sure how CIC calculate the months.

IRCC's definition of full-time work is "30 or more hours worked per week" - the denominator is weeks.
1 year = 52 weeks, 2 years = 104 weeks...

First job from 09/21/2015 - 11/15/2015 Looks like 3 weeks
Second job from 02/16/2016 - 02/12/2017 Looks like 51 weeks
Current job from 02/13/2017 Looks like 32 weeks today, will be 35 weeks by October 18.

So, unfortunately, you will have a maximum of 89 weeks by the time your permit ends (are you able to renew it?), there is no way you will gain the points for a 2nd year of work experience.

What is your CRS score with 1 year of experience (I presume you are talking about working in Canada) ?

Presumably, your friend continued to work after receiving the ITA and completed 2 years by the time he submitted his eAPR. The OP's work permit is expiring, unfortunately, and has too much time to complete yet before the system will "see" it as 2 years...

So sad but true. Now there's only 1 way I can pump up my score is the English test. Thanks for your help!

My score is now at 408

Well, that's a good way to do it. If you took the IELTS first, try the CELPIP (or vice versa).

Alternatively, even if you have to go back "home" for a while, if you get at least one year of skilled foreign work experience, that will also boost your score...

An update for my case:
At 95 week, I updated my EE profile with new CELPIP score and the year of work exp has been auto updated to 2 years. My CRS score is now at 433.
Finger cross!
