Need Help With Work Experience

Hey guys,

I am filling up my express entry profile. I need clarification on something important. So I am working 26 hours a week as a dentist on one clinic and about 35 hours at the other. I've been working at both clinics for about two years now. According to the Canadian immigration website, it says that 1,560 hours is counted as a year. So therefore, going by that logic, I have accumulated about 2,017 hours on one clinic and 2,716 hours at another. Add them up and it totals up to 4,733 hours which amounts to just over 4680 hours, the 3 year time.

Now my question is, does that count as a 3 year experience if we go by the number of hours or just two years only?

I'll appreciate and welcome all the responses.

Thank you all

thanks for the reply. So this means the number of hours doesn't add up, which technically should count as more experience. I'll just keep it to only two hours of experience

You're only taking into account the hours worked per week but you are disregarding the fact that you also need to work for a three year period to get points for 3 years of work experience.

I could be working 100 hours per week but I would still need to work for a year time period to claim points for a year of work experience.
