Need help with wait time to sponsor a spouse

Hi all
I got married in canada in 2018. My wife sponsored me and it was inland application.
Now We got separated after 2years and by jan 2021 i will get my divorce papers.
My question is how long do i have to wait untill I can sponsor my spouse who is outside canada. ?

When did you land and officially become a PR? Five years after that date you will qualify to sponsor your new spouse.

Also - make sure you wait until your divorce is finalized before you marry your new spouse. Otherwise IRCC won't recognize your new marriage.

I landed here in july 2017 on visitor got married and got my landing paper in oct 2018. So that mean i will have to wait till 2023 or 2022 .?
Yes i will wait for the divorce papers before proceeding further.
