Hi Friends,
I am currently studying for a 2-year post graduation certification course from a renowned college in Toronto and my course is going to complete in Aug 2018. Can anyone help me to know if I am eligible for PNP of Ontario and what should I do to apply?

Hi,

I am by no means an expert but hopefully I can help.

Firstly you should check with this calculator

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

There are a couple of streams that you can apply under potentially.

If you are looking to apply under the human capital priorities stream, You will need somewhere in the region of 400 points ( although if your NOC code is in computer science type field there is a chance that less than 400 points will be required at some point this year, this is by no means definite ), see the below link.

http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL_WHO.html

You will need to get your post education credentials evaluated.

If your college certification is a masters you might be eligible for this stream.

Finally the Ontario PNP explanation documentation, in pdf form can be found here.

Hope this is of some help.

Thanks for this. I have already calculated my points on CRS tool which is 357 and my NOC is 2171 which belongs to IT. I am hoping with the additional points, which I will get after my post graduation, I will be able to get sufficient points for PR but I am looking for PNP option as that can give me the highest points as per my understanding.
Is there a way I can get information on how points are calculated under CRS tool?
