Need help with NOC Code

I was Marketing Executive in a company and performed below duties. I filed my CEC under 0651 Noc code but my consultant referred to 4163 Noc Code. Which one is correct according to my situation? Job Title matters or job duties? Thanks

- Plan and develop marketing strategies and Campaign, advertising, organize events, developing awareness and distribution of the products and services
- Generating leads for sales executive by understanding needs of the clients and maintaining relationship to repeat the sales
- Getting the sales team to convert leads to sales promotional activities needed to push strategy to go through
- Managing Key accounts
- Aggressively helping sales team to achieve the sales target.
- Managing budget, sales, sales team and clients.
- Answering inquiries from sales team and clients.
- Expansion of distribution network.

I contacted them and they said 0651 would work but my job title is Marketing Executive. I need proper guidance on this. I dont want my application to be refused, so please help guys

When it comes to NOC O.. I feel VO prefer to have some relevane between your job and study
One of my friends application was rejected recently bcoz she was NOC 0621 and officer wasn't satisfied with the job title matching the study, job duties and Wages
Make sure when you apply.. Try to rephrase the job duties in your reference.. Just don't copy everything from
Hrsdc and try to add 1-2 duties which you perform but they are not mentioned in your NOC on the website
But again.. Thts just my view point

Hi,

What matters is the job duties - not the title. The VO will look at the lead statements and duties for your chosen NOC and compare them to the duties outlined in your ref. letter. If the duties are a good match, you should be fine. This of course assumes you are on an OPEN work permit. If you are on a closed work permit, you have no option but to use the NOC associated with the closed work permit.

This is really hearsay. A VO would not reject an application based on job title. The NOC is not used for job titles but for the job duties - this is the main factor. If the officer is not satisfied that the work completed matches that of the NOC then you have a problem. When this occurs, they tend to look at salary etc as well to compare it to what they would expect it to be.

Lots of 0 occupations don't necessarily require education - and with most jobs (excluding engineering, law, medicine etc) education may be required but usually generic dip/degrees are sufficient...

As I mentioned it earlier .. This is my opinion .. Bcoz I saw the refusal email that my friend got last month.. She was a June applicant and I know it's a silly reason but this is the reason she actually got
I don't know what will be on the mind of the VO dealing with my application

Can you get the exact reason for refusal for us all to see? May help others out?

I am not sure which NOC you meant, 0651 (Managers in customer/personal services) does not seem to apply -
