I've been struggling this for months! I hope someone can have the answer. Here is my study and work experience in Canada
I came to Canada for Master's Degree study immediately after I finished my undergraduate study in my home country (don't have any work experience back in my home country). Master's study since Sep 2010. My study permit was valid for five years until Nov 2015. I applied for off campus work permit (CIC cancel this permit for students who have the new study permit after 2014) at June 2011. My old off campus work permit valid until Nov 2015. I started to work full time on campus (which don't need a work permit and no limit of working time) since April 2013 while I haven't finish my Master's study. I finished my study at June 2015. So there was a overlap for my study and work for about two years. I know CEC wouldn't accept working experience when I held a study permit. So question No.1, would Federal skill worker program admit my working experience under my study permit (full time for two years)?
When I graduated on June 2015, I immediately applied for post-graduate work permit. But it took CIC too much time to process it. I didn't get my post-graduate work permit until Oct 2015. That's a four months' gap. But I still work during that four month's gap which is legal because my study permit still available and I still work for the same employer. So question No.2, does this four month's work experience can be account for that 1 year Canadian work experience?
