Hi Guys:
I have almost worked for a year as a mechanical engineer ( specifically doing pipeline stuff), and I am wondering if I can apply with NOC 2132 (Mechanical Engineer). Here are my main duties:
1. Evaluate the Alberta System meter stations’ Maximum Operating Pressure (MOP).
2. Review pipeline mechanical drawings for Alberta System meter stations, and calculate MOP for each pipe based on the piping design specifications.
3. Investigate mechanical failure for each pipe in a meter station due to over operating pressure and prepare engineering assessment reports.
4. Analysis Piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) for Alberta producers’ facilities and ensure the over pressure protection valves meet Canadian Standard Association (CSA) standard.
5. Evaluate control valve calibration and maintenance records.
6. Plan projects progress estimation and manage human resource allocation for projects.
If anyone could help me this, I would be really appreciated! Thanks!
