Hello

I am moving to Alberta next month. I have one year work permit. I know that in Alberta as soon i get job and LMO i can apply for PNP....but it's 8- 12 months processing time. Please correct me if i am wrong.

But i am getting confused because people says it's better option to move BC. Please help me if i am doing good by moving to Alberta.

Thank you

Current nomination processing time in BC is 5 months and between 8 - 12 months in AB. Seeing that you only have a 1 year work permit BC looks like a better choice. But then the decision is yours to make. Try to scope out the job market in both areas and keep in mind that processing times are always subject to change without notice, so make your decision fast so you can start your application.

All the best! :D

You need a job offer letter for pnp right?
How long time you have been in canada?

You situation is not complete to us.
You are asking about moving what about
Rest of the things like you open work permit or closed
Etc.

Hiiii

I have done one year program, and got one year open work permit. Now i know it's very hard to get PR in Ontario with one year work permit. So i am moving to Alberta.

Thank you for reply

In BC is it possible to apply to PNP as soon i get job and LMO or i need any experience. I wanted to move BC but i heard that they do not accept one year certificate. They only accept diploma or degree.

Thank you

My suggestion:
1. Move to BC.
2. Apply for jobs in AB and BC
3. Then if you get a job in AB, move there

I heard there are more scopes in BC than AB.

You have to keep extreme Alberta weather in mind too. Winter in BC are mild as compared to Alberta winters. Winters in Alberta are 7 months long from temperatures varying from -45 to 0 degree Celsius. the main cities are Calgary and Edmonton which are suitable for immigrants.

BC is nicer if you can get a job there.

Hi

I don't know more about lmo but I have seen on bc website that we need 2 semesters diploma or degree.

Please check it bro.

but in ab you don't need experience with your certificate, but processing time is too long.

You have to decide everything what will be the possibilty in future either lmo or any other possibility.

because you need something to extend your work permit.
