I am applying for immigration under FSW category.
Could anyone please answer my very basic questions:

1) The instruction guide does not specify what font size to use for filling in the application(I mean the forms that we need to fill).
What font size is recommended. Also Do we need to enter the data in ALL CAPITALS??

2) I read in the instructions guide that the forms need to be sent directly to canada.
What do we mention in the "Visa Office requested for the process of the application for permanent residence in Canada"??
I am from INDIA, do I need to mention "NEW DELHI"??

3) Could anyone please confirm if BRAMPTON comes in ONTARIO province/territory?

4) Anyone from INDIA, please let me know what details if any need to be filled for "IDENTITY CARD NUMBER" or would a N/A do?

Would surely have few more questions.
It would be great if these doubts are cleared.

Thanks

1. Question irrelevant since you can't change the font in the pdf forms. 'Print' usually means write in capital letters. Though, it's best to type in the details.

4. I put in the election ID card number which is considered as the government ID card in India. If you don't have that, you can put N/A. I don't think they insist on that, anyway.

These are my answers as I know but please verify with CICi it is final.

1(a). I second charmeuse as I also think that the font sizes in the PDF forms is not possibly changeable-it seems fixed size.

1(b). I have read somewhere that the CIC demands you to fill in the forms with small letteres starting with a Capital letter ( Perhaps called Titlecase Letters) - Not in Capital letters. Example: Writing "Hopeful Canadian" is what they require. Don't write "hopeful canadian" or "HOPEFUL CANADIAN".

2. As of today all the applications are to be sent to CIO NS ( Central Intake Office - Nova Scotia) for Cat 1, 2 & 3. For the Visa Office Requested you need essentially the Visa office of your country of current residence you have open access to - in Your case you may write " CHC New Delhi "

3. Brampton is in Ontario, Canada.

4. Possibly you need to enter your Identity card no. and attach it's Notary's Vverified Copy.
I am from Pakistan and have applies through CHC Islamabad. I have entered National Identity Card Numbers (Now called as CNIC) for me and my Spouse and also have attached the Notary's verified Copies of the same. I have also entered National Identity Card Numbers (Now called as CNIC) for my children mentioned on a " Bay " Form and also have attached the Notary's verified Copies of the same.

I hope this would suffice to clear out your querry.

It would be Month and year only, you dont need to write date. Example...

I worked in one company 12/02/2001 to 15/03/2005 it will be in forums , From, 02-2001.... To, 03-2005.

Where if your job is current, it will go like

From,02-2001..... To, "Present", this is what i did. I left box of date for Present Empty and typed right down of box "Present" and it worked fine. They didnt make any objection. Hope this will help..

I used in my application only 'New Delhi. Will it create any problem???
