Hi All,
I received my COPR recently (Express Entry Category) and the expiry date on the COPR is too short for me to make the full landing within the specified time. Can you please help me understand whether it is possible to do the following:
* Land in Canada and provide friend/ relative's address for the PR Card delivery
* Return back to native country in 2-3 weeks time after landing
* Have the friend/ relative send the PR card to my native address through courier and then return to Canada at a later date after receiving the PR card

Any inputs/ suggestions will be immensely helpful.

Thanks

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes

Please note, you also can apply permanent resident travel document in order to return to Canada without PR card. Furthermore, you can live outside of Canada, but must live in Canada for at least two years in a five-year period. If you live outside of Canada for longer, you may lose your permanent resident status.

Just to mention, in certain (to certain) countries postal delivery services may refuse to take/deliver official ID's.

Hi all !

I am all ready to land in canada mid sep. i have a small doubt regarding my wife visa.

I am an Indian citizen and wife is Singaporean.
I received my passport with canada stamp along with COPR, while my wife received only CORP, when i check with VFS they said , singapore passport comes under visa exempted. now i have a question for her visa.
CIC says visa exepted PP need e-TA but they have a note says , untill sep 29, foreign national can enter it wihtout eTA

can you advise what i suppose to do? my flight is on 17 Sep.. do i apply e-TA or not? its only cosy CAD 7 though ..

also they said PR guys cant apply eTA, are we consider Canadian PR before we land ?
