Hello there,

My Cousin from the UK is 32 years old and is very interested in applying for a visa for Canada that would enable her to live and work within Canada temporarily throughout her stay.

I'm very interested to know whether this is possible for someone at her age? If so, please could anyone reach out and give me more info on how to make this possible?

Much appreciated,

- M ;D

She would first need to secure a full time job offer from an employer in Canada. That employer would then have to apply for and obtain an approved LMIA (this process typically takes 4-6 months). Your cousin would then qualify to apply for a closed work permit tied to that specific employer.

It tends to be extremely difficult to find employers willing to go through the LMIA process. Having said that, some are successful.

The max age for IEC Visa is 30. She may contact one of the recognized organization to see if they can offer her a job. This doesn't require LMIA.
