I applied for tourist canadian visa last year and I got visa approved, which was valid from Aug 2012-Feb 2013.
However, I didnt use that visa at all. sth changed and I didnt get a chance to visit Canada.
Now I plan to go on Alaska cruise which will pass British Columbia in May. So I think I will need a new Canadian visa.
The question is
1) will I hv to go to the consulate to void the previous unused expired visa? Or I can just re-apply as a normal case, i,e, like I am applying the visa for the first time?
2) I plan to go to apply in person in New york. I am confued about their office hr. Is it 8.30-10.30 Mon-Fri or Mon&Wed&Fri?
3) How long does it take to get visa stamp for in person application?
Thank you everyone in advance! Please help!!!
