Hi Everyone,

I am 29 years old. I have applied for Canada Study Visa 4 times. Unfortunately, received refusals all the time (Even after receiving AIP for 3rd attempt. I have completed my 10th and 12th with over 60%. After that, I did a Master's in computer applications and also served as an IT engineer for over 3 years. But at that stage, because of a family issue, I had to leave my job and came back to my hometown and worked as a Support Engineer at a local school for 1.5 years. While working there, I planned for a study permit for Canada and also Scored Overall 7 Bands in IELTS (W6.5, R6, S7, L7.5) . I applied for Jan 2020 Intake at George Brown College for Wireless Networking Course PG Diploma and refused. After misguidance, I applied again for the same course within a month by making minor changes in SOP and refused again. It was a disheartening moment for me, as I had hoped to get it this time. I applied capes notes and found that reason mentioned was course selection was not appropriate and the reasons received in refusal letters states will not come back to my home country.

After 2 refusals, I thought to drop that idea but didn't give up and plan to give my best. I searched again and found I should go for the Business + Information technology course and I chose Northern college for the same as it was pocket-friendly to me and matched with my requirements. I applied again in August 2020 and also received approval in Principle for the same. It thrilled me to know that I succeed this time and started my online classes for Jan Intake 2021 for almost 2 months.

Unfortunately, I received refusal again at a 2nd stage after 6 months while i was studying. This time I received a refusal letter with the reason again for the same reason that I will not come back to my home country, along with one more reason that my proposed study is not relevant. I was heartbroken and wasn't sure that how can someone receive that reason for refusal as IRCC clarified that only Biometrics and we will verify Medical only at 2nd stage. It shocked me and left me with no other option, as I was about to complete my semester.

I applied again for the 4th and last time by adding a Support letter from college as well stating the same within SOP. It will surprise you guys that i received refusal again but with the reasons that (I will not come back and proposed studies also mentioned language ability isn't up to mark.

I would be thankful to guys if you can support me and provide your valuable comments.

this is hard applying by yourself and getting rejected 4 times will stay in your record forever.i dont want to say you should have done .... but after 1st and 2nd rejection you should consult with certified immigration lawyer if you feel that you have strong profile and strong application.

1st- order GCMS notes. understand what the officer specifically disliked
2nd - prepare perfect application / god-like Sop and letter of explanation / documents proofs your ties to your home country / your future plans and prospects. why that college / what city / why Canada. explain what parts of the course specifically will further your career.

3rd- apply with certified lawyer or consultant.

4th if it didnt work. then consider appeal the decision if you feel u had perfect application

Well, i provided property papers stated I'm the owner, even financial documents of mine and parents as well which proves I will handle my expenses while studying there. I had applied GCMS notes after 2nd refusal which only mentioned course selection was wrong and didn't justify future goals with that course.

1st : I ordered GCMS notes and VO only mentioned that I chose the wrong course which doesn't depict appropriate future prospects because of that
2nd : Keeping in mind I made perfect SOP, changed course and college, and explained every single related to my previous studies and how it will help me in the future to achieve my own goals. Maybe that's why I only received approval at the first stage but denied at 2nd.
3rd : Yes I'm considering doing that.

What is your question? Have you ever ordered GCMS notes? Why do you want to study in Canada if you have a Masters degree?
Yes I already mentioned GCMS notes and their outcomes, the reason i applied just to have international exposure to brush up my skills.

Honestly I don't understand the career progression if you have a masters. Can't a wireless networking course be taken in your home country. Why do you need to spend thousands on such a courses and how does it give you "international exposure" at George Brown College. If you aren't planning on living in Canada and applying for PR, then state strong job prospects and ties to your country.

You should apply for the notes for all your 4 refusals. Why did you continue applying to colleges after Masters, even after multiple refusals??? Especially since one of your GCMS notes specified your course was inappropriate?

If you read through this forum, you'd see that applying for a college course after a Masters degree especially in IT related courses, is not a great idea.

You should look for other options other than Canada. After 4 refusals, one rarely will get approval.

1st Application: X% Chance of approval (depending on passport applying with, country of residence, program level, institution reputation/ranking)
2nt Application X% - 10%
3rd Application X%/2
4th Application X% - 90%
5th Application X% - 95%

It was clearly a mistake when I chose the Wireless course as didn't match with my previous studies But after researching a lot; I considered Business + Technology enhancement personally over the period of 2 years would be a great option. Luckily, I got approval at the first stage but denied at the second.
I explained clearly in my SOP that my country mainly focuses on theoretical knowledge as per the education system. Whereas the Canadian education system would not only enhance my personal skills, I could also develop my competitive skills by spending my time in a multicultural country like Canada during my study period. Even during my working period, I witnessed international degrees hold important value in my home country.

Yes, I had ordered after 2 refusals and reviewed where they stated about career progression with that course, So keeping that in mind I went for the Business + Technology course (2 years). Even after approved at the first stage (AIP) they refused me at 2nd stage. Eventually, I have seen many people got visas after going for PG 1 year course even after having Masters Degree.

Yeah, It seems now next to impossible of getting a visa for Canada.
