hello! I have applied for the spouse visa on 27 March 2018 and the file was returned to me after 6 weeks fdue to a missing signature. I again sent the file only to realize at the later stage that the visa photos sent were of wrong dimensions. Is there any way I can send the photos before my file is processed again? Or will they return the file again? I am really really worried. I might end up wasting 6 more weeks

You re-sent your sponsorship application around 3 to 4 weeks ago.......and it takes 6 to 8 weeks for IRCC Mississauga to send AOR1........so if you want to ease your worries and hoping its not been returned yet.............maybe you could get the correct Photos according to IRCC Specifications..........and you mail the correct Photos to IRCC Mississauga in a registered mail for tracking.........when you send the correct Photos to IRCC.......include a copy of the sponsorship payment receipt as it may help IRCC sort and include the correct Photos in your application package...
So you mean I can send the photos with the correct specifications before my application gets processed ???
send the correct photo.......in the hope IRCC has not returned your application yet........you could be lucky, they receive it b4 AOR.........not sure if they will return the complete package because of wrong photo.....but advice you re-send if that could help avoid another application return and 6 weeks loss.

it’s been just two weeks that we have sent the file . They did not pinpoint it earlier that our photos were of wrong dimensions. Do you think that they can still give us AOR??

If it was pinpointed when the application was earlier returned.........not sure if they will return the complete package because of wrong photo......you will have to decide........wait or act b4 AOR......its up to you.

This is just anecdotal, but a friend of mine had sent photos of wrong dimensions with her application to Mississauga, they did not return her package for this but did ask her to submit the corrected photos later on in the process. Hope it's the same for you! If in doubt I think it's better to call IRCC first (hotline number is on their website) as the agent may be able to tell you it's in process before they would have sent it back. You can also ask then if you may send photos separately or wait for them to be requested.
