Hi
My husband is currently doing his PhD in Montreal, Canada. I am working in Bangalore as Senior Engineer and resigned on 24th March. I have applied for Visitor visa on 15th March 2017. I have received the decision in 19days and was rejected with following reasons:
You have not satisfied that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident. In reaching the decision, I considered several factors including:
1. Family ties in Canada and in country of residence
2. Length of proposed stay in Canada
3. Purpose of visit
4. Personal assets and financial status
I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds, including income or assets, to carryout your stated purpose in going to Canada or to maintain yourselfwhile in Canada and to effect your departure
I have provided the following documents while applying:
1. Education documents
2. 6 month payslip from company and 1yr IT return
3. Property document from my father with an affidavit
4. My father's retirement letter as proof of return to India
5. 6 month bank statement with amount 546000 transferred from my father and husband around 10 days before appying
6. Letter from bank approving the funds available
7. Medicals required
8. Invitation letter, university ID, utility bills from my husband
9. Marriage certificate, photos and wedding card as proof of marriage
I have stated my length of stay as 4 months and the financial support from myself and accomodation from my husband.
Still, what could be the reason behind the rejection that states about the personal funds.
What supporting documents should I provide to overcome the rejection and satisy the officer for above mentioned things?
Can someone who faced the above or know some info could please help? All the suggestions will be really useful. Thanks v much
