Regarding my CEC application I have a question.

From September 2009 to September 2010 I work as a part-time worker, a total of 1543 hours. (Working Holiday Visa)
From April 2011 to August 2012 (ongoing) I have worked fulltime for over 2574 hours. (Work Visa)

The total hour so far is accumulated to 4,117 hours.

For work visa, my NOC Number is 0651.

During the period I worked part-time, my work hours varied from month to month. But as I understand if I calculate CEC's requirement is to work 2 years full-time or equivalent (37.5h/week). In this case I've worked more than I need to and I think I'm eligible to apply under CEC. Is my understanding correct? If so, how can I fill out the Secheule 8. Section 9 "Your work experience in Canada"?

Please help me in this regard. I'm trying to submit the application by the end of next week.

Thank you so much for reading this and look forward to hearing from kind people :)

Sincerely,

Takman

How many hours per week?

On average, how many hours per WEEK?

But as I understand if I calculate CEC's requirement is to work 2 years full-time or equivalent (37.5h/week). In this case I've worked more than I need to and I think I'm eligible to apply under CEC. Is my understanding correct?

It sounds like it you are eligible, but you still need to report hours worked per WEEK. That is how CIC calculates your eligibility.

If so, how can I fill out the Secheule 8. Section 9 "Your work experience in Canada"?

Not really sure what the question/problem with section 9 is...?

I would suggest listing your part-time and your full-time employment as separate lines, even if they were the same position with the same employer.

For the full-time work period "April 2011 to Aug 2012" it's been 40 hours per week. My work visa is valid until June 2013 under the same condition (40hr/w)
For the part-time work period "Sep 2009 to Sep 2010" 1543÷48 weeks=32.145...

Sounds like I'm not eligible...?

You need 104 weeks total (52 weeks per year).

For your full-time work starting April XX? 2011 - through August 2012 - depending on your exact start date - I'm estimating 72 weeks.

For the part-time work, 1543 / 37.5 = 41 weeks FTE.

That's 113 weeks. I think you've met the work experience requirement.

Thank you so much jes_ON for your kind inputs :)

One thing I forgot to correct regarding my 1st list of questions was the IMM 0008 Schedule 8 document.

Section 9 says...

9. Your Work Experience in Canada
Starting with your current occupation, list your occupations within the 3 years preceding the date of your application. Give for each the appropriate National Occupational Classification (NOC) code the dates, your occupation, the name of your employer, a description of your main duties and your weekly hours. List only occupations that fall in Skill Type 0 or Skill Levels A or B of the NOC.

In this section I can only type in weekly hours. Since for the part-time work period I worked 32 hours per week, how can I show that I've worked enough hours to be eligible for CEC application? Should I type 32 hours and then attach additional info sheet to explain my situation in details? If I did so I'm afraid that CEC officer would refuse my application, seeing that I did NOT work enough hours...

Your answer will be greatly appreciated :'(

??? What do you mean, you did not work enough hours??? Didn't I just show that you did? What situation needs explaining?

You have to give your exact start and end dates. Sept XX, 2009 - Sept XX 2010. Then you list your weekly hours. CIC will calculate the number of weeks you worked * hours worked per week. Do the same for your full-time position. There's no need to explain further.

Of course this information will have to be supported by your Letter(s) of Employment and your T4 and NOA.

I think it would benefit you to re-read the application guide.
