Need Help Regarding LMIA

Hello Mates,

I live in delhi and currently working in TCS as network specialist however i showed my interset towrds canada PR for which
i gave IELTS but couldnt get a desirable score but one of friend told me about some international worker in canada.

so i have few quetion about the process regarding LMIA,


1) how long LMIA process takes upto for international workers. ?
2) Is it necessary to apply for the same profile you are working in INDIA or i can apply for different occupation as
per requirement in canada. ?
3) After LMIA approve would i get a visa written as " IMMIGRANT or International worker. ?

You cannot apply for an LMIA yourself. This is only something your employer can obtain.

1) Assume 2-4 months.
2) It should be in an occupation that you have experience in.
3) You would apply for a work permit and get a temporary work permit visa. Apply to immigrate is a completely different and much more complex process.

But one of my friend has started a process through a consultant who is guiding him to apply for international worker and he took responsibilty
to approve his LMIA with employeer.

But need to know if it would get a approve will i get a visa as IMMIGRANT or internation worker.

Sounds like your friend may be getting scammed by the consultant.

And I already answered your last question. The visa will be for an international worker (temporary).
