Need help regarding JOB qualification

Hello,

I recently got my open work permit. I am working with a small trucking/transportation company. My work is kind of a office job. My employer is able to provide me with any position whichever I want.

My concern is.... will my experience of 1 year and that too from a small company..... will help me for CEC or not??
Also, if this job will help me, what wage rate is need to show?

It doesn't work that way. The position and job description your employer provides must match what you are actually doing. If you fail to do that and lie, expect a refusal and possible misrepresentation ban.

Yes it comes under the NOC codes.

But I am concerned that the company is small.
That's why I am confused.

But how about the size of company?

CIC doesn't specify any requirements of the employer for the CEC class applicants, therefore the size of the company doesn't matter. If it is a registered and legal business and your employer files taxes, you are good.

Actually, I am doing all kind of stuff there!!! From office work like making invoices, dispatching drivers, making payrolls and supervising. That's what confusing me, what exactly my title should be? In the NOC codes there are couple of jobs in which I qualify, but I am not sure, which title suits the best??

Don't focus that much on the title itself. What matters the most are your daily responsibilities (what your employer will mention in a reference letter) and the NOC job description. These two have to match. For example, in my case, my official title is a Media Investment Assisant (NOC 1123 - Professional occupations in Advertising/Marketing), however there is no such title in the NOC, but the job description is exactly what I did when I worked. So, my employer copied the job description of NOC 1123 and gave me a reference letter.

You can basically choose any title from NOC O, A, B if your responsibilities match with the NOC job description

You should pick the NOC code that has the most duties in common with your actual job. The description of your job sounds like it could also be a NOC C. They will also look at your education level and whether it fits with the NOC level you have selected. You can't just get your employer to copy what is in the job duties section of an NOC and put it in a letter.
