Hi Guys,
I have a question, i need help regarding my immigration. I Officially graduated( in April 2013 and i had my off campus work permit at that time and i was working full time. from May 2013 till Sep 2013 as a Office Administrator (NOC 1221)

I am currently working as Credit Analyst since Sep 2013(NOC 1114) till present.

My Post Graduate work permit is only valid till July 2014 and was issued on July 2013

I have few questions

Is my work experience valid from April 2013 considering that i already had my off campus work permit and i was officially graduated.

Secondly my experience from May to Sep NOC 1221 is that valid since it has been taken off from the list.

Thirdly what would be the best advice to apply for my immigration. I cannot get LMO as my company is not willing to do so.

Seniors please advise?

Just wondering , have you looked into other streams like Provincial nominee? You do need a full year of work for CEC tho, and if your NOC 1221 is taken off of the list, remember CIC accesses based on what new regulation is in place at the moment you apply..

best regards

1 year PGWP. Did you do a one year program or was it more than a year? Since that NOC is not eligible anymore you can't use it towards CEC. Try looking into other streams as the previous user mentioned.

i only had a one year program hence one year work permit,

I haven't looked into any other stream as ia m trying to find people to help me out for LMO and PNP but there is no help.

Here is my concern since my PGWP is expiring in july 2014 what if i apply for immigration and get my AOR , extend my BOWP and then get rejected,

Once i get rejected i can re-apply and after that i will be able to apply for CEC and i will have one full year of NOC 1114 and i can apply again and then extend my BOWP.

What do you guys suggest ?

I always feel bad seeing people in so much trouble. Its all part of life struggle. There is always a way:
In which province you located ?
Which NOC your first exp is accumalated ?
In second one tell us your job duties , may be it can be counted in another NOC

Thx

No applications under CEC will be accepted for NOC 1221, at this time.

1. Look into your provincial nominee program.

2. Your employer's unwillingness to apply for an LMO is likely based on misinformation. Since you are currently on a PGWP, there are special rules for your employer that make it easier to apply for an LMO - they do NOT have to demonstrate recruitment efforts. Suggest you show this to your employer (scroll down to the "Advertisement" section, and ask again.

Employers hiring former PGWPP participants in higher-skilled occupations are not required to conduct recruitment or advertisement efforts, provided, the LMO is received by the appropriate Service Canada Centre within 90 days of the expiration of the post-graduate work permit.
http://www.esdc.gc.ca/eng/jobs/foreign_workers/higher_skilled/students/index.shtml

3 Alternatively, you have until July 2014 to find an employer who is willing to apply for an LMO. The same rules apply as above, doesn't matter if it's a different employer.
